George Turner

Probably Australia's foremost SF author, and certainly the sternest critic of SF that Australia has produced. George is a veteran writer, author of several critically aclaimed mainstream novels, winner of Australia's premier literary award, the Miles Franklin Award.

George is also well known for his fanzine appearances, with many critical articles to his credit. Not surprisingly, his work appeared often in S F Commentary, a fanzine produced by Aussiecon Three Fan Guest of Honour, Bruce Gillespie.
